Around 40 CRPF personnel were killed in a deadly terror attack on Thursday and Pakistan-based terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed claimed responsibility of the attack.RCA followed the footsteps of Cricket Club of India and the Mohali stadium authorities who also carried out similar actions condemning the terror attack.On Saturday, Cricket Club of India (CCI) had covered the portrait of Imran Khan in the restaurant hall at its Brabourne stadium headquarters in Mumbai. Secretary Suresh Bafna had said that the step was their way of condemning the barbaric attack on their security personnel.Following that, the broadcast of Pakistan Super League (PSL) was suspended in India by DSport, who held the right for the same in India.Also, photographs of various Pakistani cricketers, including Shahid Afridi, Javed Miandad and Wasim Akram, inside the Mohali stadium was taken down as a “humble step” to show solidarity with the families of martyrs of the Pulwama terror attack on Sunday.IMG-Reliance then backed out from broadcasting the PSL, meaning the league will go off air unless the PCB brings in an alternate production services.On the other hand, there is continuous controversy around an I-League match between Real Kashmir FC and Minerva Punjab FC in Srinagar on Monday. While AIFF have given a go-ahead for the match in Srinagar, Minerva are not ready to travel just days after the attack and asking for written security assurance from the Home Ministry or Indian Army or the Government of India.advertisementHowever, the Shooting World Cup will not be affected by the situation in the country after National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) secretary Rajiv Bhatia confirmed on Monday that visa will not be denied to the Pakistan shooters for participation in the upcoming tournament.
