Chris Olave helped make it possible.Olave, a freshman wide receiver, was one of several stars for OSU on Saturday. He hauled in his first two career touchdown receptions and also blocked a punt that was returned for a touchdown.Olave looks like he has a bright future in Columbus. Right now, he’s digging his present as well. This morning, Olave tweeted how happy he was to earn his first pair of “gold pants.” Ohio State players get “gold pants” medallions whenever they beat Michigan. The Buckeyes have beaten the Wolverines 13 of the last 14 times they’ve faced off.Woke up in the best mood, 1st pair of gold pants !— Chris Olave (@chrisolave_) November 25, 2018One test remains for the Buckeyes. They have to beat Northwestern next Saturday in the Big Ten Championship Game.A win would give Ohio State its second-straight Big Ten title. It would make them 12-1 on the season. At that point, it would be up to the committee to decide if the Buckeyes had done enough to earn a bid in the College Football Playoff.last_img
