In addition to the wonderful fireworks display that thrills local residents and out of town guests each year, Las Vegas entertainment is coming to Caldwell. The football stands will provide excellent seating for the show which will lead immediately into the evenings fireworks display.Marshall Matthews and The Memphis Kings will be performing an exciting two hour concert at the Caldwell Athletic Complex starting at 7:30 PM. Matthews, a Caldwell resident is recognized as an award winning international Elvis Tribute Artist and entertainer. His band is comprised of twelve highly accomplished professional musicians who have played with some of the most successful big-named bands, recorded their own albums, appeared on movie soundtracks and television shows and are in repeat demand throughout the United States.Opening the concert will be local entertainer Debbi Cay backed by the Memphis Kings and as a special treat local musicians Leonard Rinehart and Justin Crumbliss will also perform with the band. The event is being staged to raise money for the local school DARE Program. Although admission to the concert is free, people are encouraged to bring a donation for this vital program that teaches 6th and 8th graders the responsibilities of maintaining drug and violence free lives.Several local and area businesses have generously donated funds to sponsor the event and bring this Las Vegas style stage show to Caldwell.Follow us on Twitter.last_img
